The main thing that helped me personally is she helped us gain confidence in some of the basic foundational stuff that makes your mix sound good, like setting gain structure, EQ and compression. Before our vocal mix was inconsistent, sometimes they were too loud, sometimes not loud enough., it's like we had separate parts of a mix. But, she helped us to get the instruments sounding a certain way so we could have a good foundation for our vocals to sit in the mix. Now, it sounds like we have one complete mix where everything is balanced and working together. The music mix that she crafted for streaming our service is really good, but especially the drum mix.
